MVP Cup 2011
In 2011, PLDT celebrated the tenth anniversary of the annual MVP Cup with an event that surpassed all previous tournaments. This was also the first year that the MVP Cup was headlined by the newly-rebranded PLDT ALPHA Enterprise, PLDT’s corporate arm previously known as the PLDT Corporate Business Group.
Held at the venerable Wack-Wack Golf & Country Club, players enjoyed a rousing eighteen holes of golf along with royal treatment, with each player provided with access to a dedicated golf car, and a roving cart delivering drinks and snacks to players right on the course. Prizes included a Mercedes Benz C180, Audi A4, Lexus CT200, and Chevrolet Traverse, as well as large flatscreen televisions from Sharp, Samsung, and LG. Every guest was given a SMART Netphone as a giveaway.
